The Dallas Oak Barrel is 3 liters and a great barrel that won’t run dry too quickly. Just like it’s namesake it’s bigger than it looks.? It’s a nice size for someone that wants a fair amount of liquor and doesn’t mind sharing a shot or two (or three). You can age as long as you like but you should have a nice darkened batch with good oak flavor in about 3 months.? These charred oak aging barrels are a nice way to raise your liquor from well to top shelf. Of course like all of our barrels you will also receive the bung, spigot and barrel stand with this beauty.

The approximate size of the 3 liter oak barrel is 8″ from end to end and about 6 1/2″ in diameter. A 3 liter barrel is about 3/4 of a gallon. A 3 liter oak barrel will age? your liquor 15 times faster than a full size 53 gallon barrel. The 3 liter barrel would be considered a great size for someone that enjoys aging and wants to make a batch big enough to last a bit and maybe even share.? The size of the barrel head engraving will allow it to be viewed easily across a room but no be so big the barrel won’t fit on most shelves or bars without overtaking everything.?
